Our pre-school pets

Meet our pets at pre-school!

We have a pet tortoise called Stan who lives with us at pre-school all the time. He loves to explore the garden finding different things to eat, especially dandelions. The children love to give him a stroke and find him leaves to eat.

We also have 5 giant African land snails that the children help to care for.

We also hatch eggs every year, we have hatched ducks and chickens. The children love to watch them grow in their eggs and are always so excited to watch them hatch and grow. The children get to watch them grow and then move to a local yard by the river where they can go and visit them all the time.
