Here at Parkside we are a caring, welcoming, inclusive setting in which we ensure that all our children have the opportunity to participate and succeed.

We have experience with a variety of different needs and disability and have worked with a number of outside agencies in order to provide the relevant help for our children. The Equality Act 2010 defines a disability as a person with a "physical or mental impairment which has a substantial and long term adverse effect on that person's ability to carry out normal day to day activities."

In setting we have 3 members of staff who are SENDCo trained. Mica is our head SENDCo, she is available to talk to if you have any concerns about your child. We will be there to aid in providing information and to help be in contact with relevant services if needed. Basia and Nikki are also SENDCo trained and are very experienced with working with many different children with SEND.
