Commitee

At Hadleigh Parkside Pre-School we are an ‘Early Years Alliance’ constituted Charity.

Our Annual AGM is usually in September. We try to meet termly.

Our current Trustees are:

Chairperson - Erika Fletcher

Trustee - Ricky Dade

Trustee- Megan Josselyn

Trustee- Amy Davis-Smith

Trustee- Becky Denwood

Trustee - Staff Member - Chloe Bambridge

Trustee- Staff member- Mica Robinson

The purpose of the committee is to work with the Manager of the setting to ensure that the Pre-School has adequate funds to meet its financial obligations and to meet statutory requirements for Safeguarding and Ofsted Welfare requirements.

It is also the role of the committee to support the setting with fundraising ideas and activities. We would ask all parents/carers and families to continue to support any fundraising activities – this enables us to purchase new toys and resources.

Our constitution states that we must have a minimum of 5 Trustees this includes 3 key officers at all times. This has been difficult to maintain in the past, and to this end we are currently looking at changing our legal structure to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) this means that we will be a charity and a Limited company – this will limit the financial liabilities of Trustees personally to making the company liable.

We welcome new Trustees at any time – it is very beneficial to have parent representatives on our board.

Please ask any member of staff if you are interested in supporting our committee.
