Financial support

Here at Parkside we are committed to providing high quality, flexible and affordable care. With the cost of living crisis we understand that financial concerns may be a worry for some of our families. We are always here to support and provide advice to our families, we have linked some of the local support that is available.

"If you’re more than 10 weeks pregnant or have a child under 4, you may be entitled to get help to buy healthy food and milk.

If you’re eligible, you’ll be sent a Healthy Start card with money on it that you can use in some UK shops. We’ll add your benefit onto this card every 4 weeks."

Warm Homes Suffolk is an organisation that is there to support people in making their homes cost less to heat.

"The Charity is able to make grants to individuals or organisations to help in a number of ways eg. contributions towards school uniform, school trips, college and university books and equipment, assistance with travelling costs to hospital appointments, replacement of furniture and white goods etc."

Home Start Suffolk provides advice for local families, they can help with budgeting and managing money more effectively. They can also help to find grants and can be there to attend meetings with citizens advice.

"FIND is managed and run by a small group of committed volunteers and helps families that are deprived of a minimum standard of living...The charity provides, free of charge, food, household items, furniture, nursery equipment and nappies, beds and bedding and, when available, cookers, washing machines and refrigerators to families in need."
