Online safety

With children spending more time on electronical devices and it now being imbedded into every day life it is extremely important that we educate our children about staying safe online. At Parkside we have policies in place to ensure any access to online is supervised and has restrictions in place to ensure all things accessible are appropriate for our children. We ensure we talk to the children about being safe, and how if they see anything upsetting they can talk to their teachers and parents whilst at home.

You can access some links to resources that can support you at home around online safety, screen time and recommendations on age appropriate apps.

"Staff are enthusiastic in their approach. They spend most of their time interacting with children, including during imaginative role-play activities."

"Children listen carefully to staff who ask them carefully phrased questions and introduce new vocabulary. This is particularly effective in helping children to become confident communicators and successfully enhances their speaking skills."
